Let Them Be Kids Worldwide Initiative - Dominican Republic
The Let Them Be Kids Initiative is a first of its kind. This worldwide program helps communities build capacity and community involvement amongst citizens, while also building playgrounds in areas of need and laying a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow for all.

The Calgary Board of Education and City of Calgary Parks department removed a large playground from the Edgemonte Elementary School. The team installed the playground near the CareForce facility where teams were hosted to do projects to support local children. The playground was the first of its type in the rural areas. Upon completion, 650 children and many parents lined up to play on the playground. The project was so successful that it had to be fenced and controlled so children wouldn't skip school to play. Very early on the sponsors were contacted and bus loads of children were booked to spend time on the playground. |
