The Need...

Edgewater Park is a thriving school of around 250 students Grades K-8. There are no other play areas available in the area around the school. The school's wood playground has deteriorated so badly that each year areas are removed due to safety issues.

The Activity...

In one day volunteers will build a safe playground for the children.

The Impact...

Establishing a playground, along with the other activities, would meet a school and community need, bringing recreational and play opportunities for children and families, improving the quality of life for all in the area...

Volunteers can expect

  • Hands on work
  • Free food and drink
  • Fun, uplifting day
  • To make a difference
